- Some gifts for friends, the album I made for a friend who was going to holiday in several countries..It has two spines and opens up under the word Travels, plenty of spaces for photos and tags for journalling..
- The crocheted items I made for Nurse friend whose daughter was having a baby, last year while she was pregnant, they found they would be having a girl..I have never crocheted dresses or jackets, this is something I have started in last 6 months, I learnt to crochet when I was 10, but pretty much all I did were granny squares..over the years I mainly knitted, but now I have a problem with my left hand and cannot knit anymore, so crocheting became the flavour of the day..now I'm a happy hooker ;-)
- I also crochet hats for the neo-natal unit at my local hospital, My mother lives far from me and her hospital wanted hats for the babies, so I made a bunch for her and some to keep to give away..I love crocheting, it's so peaceful and you can just loose yourself in another world..I sit in my studio near the window and the birds are chirping away and sun shining through it's just bliss :-)
